Salsa on Sundays (SOS), a weekly Salsa Social dance event in the heart of London. SOS was established in 2000 by professional dancers & long-time friends Tamambo and Leon Rose.  Tamambo and Leon Rose had a great passion for dancing and a big dream – to create a dancer’s paradise – A SALSA FESTIVAL EVERY SUNDAY! So here we are 20 years later with a dream that continues to thrive.

Why SOS?

SOS if famous for its great vibe, the UK’s best dancers, awesome teachers and fantastic music. The party is always very well attended. The venue enhances the dancer’s experience: 

– Sprung wooden dance floor. The School building has a double height ceiling and beautiful theatre-style interior.

– State-of-the-art sound system with special acoustic walls designed to provide a surround sound experience without the need to have the volume cranked up.

The night starts with an hour class divided into a footwork section and then followed by partnerwork (4 levels from beginner to advanced). Crossbody salsa On1. After that 3 hours of social dancing follow. 

The party is well attended, with a good mix of Crossbody On1 & On2 dancers, and some Cuban dancers.

SOS often invites local and international guest teachers, guest DJs and artists. We have special performance nights, that are widely advertised on our social media channels.
